From Nat and Alan: Details of upcoming talks are below. Please, as ever, do pass on to individual friends and family, but please do not share this access information publicly on social media.

WEDNESDAY 20 JANUARY 2021 7.30 – 9.00pm.  Social Values – Bringing things together & making them Happen?

This session will bring together the key protagonists of some of the range of discussions we have recently presented, covering such areas as social values, community hubs, health & wellbeing hubs, social and political change, the changing High Street, and others. It will also incorporate the current understanding of the range of initiatives that are proposed or in-flight and will provide (where possible) insight into their outcomes.

The format will use the first half of the session to outline the above initiatives and their target outcomes, the second half will be used to open the discussion on how the range of initiatives align or conflict, and to gather your thoughts on the range of initiatives and what other possibilities are available.

This session will also allow each of the key people involved to gain a greater understanding of other initiatives taking place within Hereford and the county.

WEDNESDAY 27 JANUARY 2021 7.30 – 9.00pm The Herefordshire 2030 Project.

Mark Thomas and Perry Walk will talk about the 99% organisation’s Herefordshire 2030 project. The aim of the project is to develop a clear, compelling and fact-based picture of how Herefordshire in 2030 can be fairer, greener and more prosperous than today. It will also show the actions that will need to be taken to achieve that progress, and how they can be realised. And it will develop a practical plan to engage those who will need to make it happen. Mark and Perry will ask you to input your ideas and invite you to join the project.
