In response to the climate emergency, Transition Leominster is working to create a Zero Carbon Leominster Energy Descent Action Plan.
Jenny and Silke, from Transition Leominster, said, “Thank you to everyone who came to our public launch meeting on 13th June to kickstart our plan. We had a great presentation from Gordon Coppock and Nick Read on Zero Carbon Herefordshire, and afterwards Mary Burton kept us all focused for a brainstorming session where we started collecting ‘big ideas’ for our action plan.”
The meeting identified the following themes:
- Sustainable transport
- Energy generation and energy saving
- Buildings and the built environment
- Biodiversity and green spaces
- Food and land use
- Education and awareness
Based on this, the group has created a survey to invite suggestions for how Zero Carbon Leominster can become a reality. Please take a minute to fill in the form, and contribute your big ideas to the project!

Hello
I missed your event but thought I would send link to our website with the Herefordshire Climate Manifesto, it is what we in the Golden Valley came up with to support Hereford Council.
