Pentwyn Farm Talk
Monday 12th May – 7pm Almeley Village Hall
Kington Kleen’s May meeting is hosting a talk from Chloe Jackson from Radnorshire Wildlife Trust, who will be speaking about the Wilder Pentwyn project – a place that makes space for nature and allows natural processes to develop, that is also a farm, a new model farm for the future, with high welfare, low input meat being produced from the stock, and vegetables, fruit and nuts produced from the market gardening business, which will have provided an opportunity for a new entrant to farming. All welcome, please invite others, refreshments will follow the talk.

Plant Swap Knighton
Saturday 24th May. Knighton Community Centre. This is aimed particularly at the gardeners and growers amongst you. The annual plant swap and sale fund raiser will be on in the Community Centre. Anyone planting seeds in pots this month, or splitting perennials, please pot up a few more and bring them along. It’s usually a very popular stall and a good way to raise some funds.
