The Howard Bulmer Charitable Trust is a registered charity whose objectives reflect Howard’s personal interests – enhancing the natural environment in Herefordshire; supporting the wellbeing and education of young people; and celebrating and sustaining the tradition of pomology and cider-making.
The trustees (who are Howard’s nephews and nieces) are happy to receive applications from organisations in Herefordshire Green Network for work within the County that supports these objectives. In the local environment, rivers, birds and natural history particularly interested Howard. Examples of recent grants are to Biodiversity for Ledbury for tools and plants. and to Herefordshire Wildlife Trust to establish and deliver the Howard Bulmer Young Nature Champions Award.
