Urgent – please register by 7 June for the Ready, steady WORKSHOP! Starting and running a local environment group
Oh dear – it’s looking as if the date and time we picked for the 19 June workshop on setting up and running a local environment group may not be very popular, as only a few of the 30-odd people who had expressed an interest have signed up. Maybe we need to find a different date or an evening.
If you plan to come but haven’t yet registered, please do so here by 3pm tomorrow, Saturday 7th June. That will enable us to decide whether we have a large enough group to go ahead, or whether we need to postpone.
Can you make it all add up?
If you can, you might be the new honorary treasurer that HGN is looking for!
Our current treasurer, Pat, has moved away so needs to hand over the reins.
The regular bookkeeping is handled by our admin person Rachel, so the treasurer role comprises financial reporting for bimonthly meetings, managing payments, plus advising and co-operating with the HGN steering group.
