Applewood is a 20 acre smallholding as well as a training centre. They run a wide range of courses here, mainly focused on either Permaculture or the Cultural Emergence pathways (see website for more info).

Tomas Ramiarz offers the following services:
Training programmes from short talks and workshops to in-depth courses
Mentoring service for forest gardeners, including site visits and face-to-face or remote tutorials
Collaborative design processes with groups including households, community groups, commercial or institutional clients
Site design, including singe visit walk-through designs, outline plans through to fully costed and scheduled plans
Food forest planting service including sourcing of plants and materials, site protection, ground preparation, planting of trees, shrubs and herbaceous layers
Site maintenance, repair and retrofitting
Development and execution of research programmes

Local action groups are part of a large network supported with plenty of expertise, training, resources and lobbying power. They're made up of people like you, and together they’ll bring about big systemic change.
