CLAN Event – Dorstone Dig

3 October @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
A community dig, wildlife workshops, scientific surveys and more – the Dorstone Settlement Timeline Project is bringing 6,000 years of local history to life in 2026, with a programme of free events open to everyone supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Families and nature lovers of all ages can join in with this interactive, guided session with CLaN CIC in St Faith’s Churchyard, Dorstone – getting creative and deepening their connection with nature. This free, family-friendly event will be looking at fungi.

Discover how important fungi are, find and identify as many types as possible, and play a game of Fungo!
The session is free and drop-in and the findings will contribute to the churchyard management plan.
