2021 is the 50th Anniversary of the Wye Valley being designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The 24th February 1971 was the date when the original AONB Designation Order was submitted to the then Government.
The talk will cover some of the history of the Wye Valley, the AONB designation and current activities of the AONB Partnership in conserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the area.
