Wildlife Watch Club

This month Herefordshire Wildlife Trust are launching a new Wildlife Watch Club!

The new club is aimed at children aged between 7 and 14 and it meets on the first Sunday of each month. The group will be undertaking practical conservation tasks as well as learning about our native flora and fauna. Their first meeting explored the world of bugs, bees and butterflies and the club then created a deluxe bug hotel for a variety of mini-beasts to live in in the orchard at Queenswood.

Each monthly meeting has a different theme with upcoming topics including: Survival Skills, Moths, Bats, Autumn & Hibernation, Fungi and Christmas Crafts. Children can sign up to come along each month or just book for individual sessions.

Booking is available for individual sessions online at www.queenswoodandbodenhamlake.org or contact Hayley Herridge: h.herridge@herefordshirewt.co.uk  / 01432 530088 to book onto multiple sessions.
