Walk around the Greenway – discovering nature in urban spaces with Herefordshire Wildlife Trust

Monday 10th June, 7-9pm.
David West and Anne Cottringer will lead everyone on an investigative mid-summer evening nature stroll around the Greenway floodplain, between the River Wye and Rotherwas Industrial Estate, Hereford, identifying plants, birds and animals.

Anne and David are not experts, just enthusiastic members of the Hereford City Branch of the Wildlife Trust day and everyone is welcome to help spot and identify what we see. You are welcome to stay for all or some of the event.  This walk is open to both adults and children.

The main footpath/cycle path on the Greenway is made of tarmac, however all other paths are fairly rough tracks on grass. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear (as this is a dog walking area with thistles, nettles and brambles).

Meet at the south side of the footbridge, on the other side of the river to Outfall Works Road. Rough postcode is HR1 1RY.
