The 2018 Toad Patrols are beginning in Bodenham. Since 2016, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust have been running annual Toad Patrols on the lane running alongside Bodenham Lake. Many toads have to cross this road on the way to the lake to breed at this time of year so its all hands on buckets to give them a helping hand!
The first planning meeting of the season will be held on Wednesday 7th February, at 7pm, in the Jubilee Building at Queenswood Country Park.
Anyone interested in being involved with the patrols this year is invited – whether this is your first time or you are an experienced patroller – so we can organise the sessions.
