September Gathering: Plastics with the Marine Conservation Society

September 19th 2018, 7.30pm Left Bank Hereford

We welcome Emma Cunningham of the Marine Conservation society to talk both national plastics campaigns, and tell us about the Wye UP campaign in Ross on Wye.

“Wye Unneccessary Plastics” have worked with local shops and businesses much like our Plastic Action Here work locally – so it will be good to share ideas and resources.

If you’ve been part of this so far in anyway it would be great to have you at this gathering so we can keep momentum. If you’re new to it all -great, we look forward to saying hi!

We’ll also re-invigorate our Divest Parliament action and check in with news of upcoming h.Energy.

Don’t forget – Make Do and Mend starts 18th August

  • I’m working on the replacing plastic bags with paper on Supermarkets. No response from Tesco’s. I understand that one of the big chains is compliant, Waitrose or Morrisons? Point of information, Little Marcle Farm shop, Ledbury, where I get all my non plastic veg, has biodegradable plastic bags for the lettuces, paper for everything else.
