Rubbish Art!!

Hopefully some of you will have checked out The Road Spill Shrine currently showing at MadeintheMarchesGallery @ No.12 Church St. Kington:
“The shrine is made from the rubbish I have picked up from the hedges and verges during walks I have taken around the roads and lanes in this beautiful corner of our boarder country. I gave myself 6 weeks to the material and restricted the area of search to make a point about the state of our pathments and roadsides. I have used mostly drink cans as they are bright, shinny and durable as well as being easily recycled. I called the shrine The Road Spill because the road flattened cans seemed like a form of road kill … but this had been no accident, this had all been deliberately dumped.”
