Bodenham Lake is managed (alongside Queenswood Country Park) by a Partnership between New Leaf Sustainable Development and the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust. Some of you may be aware that the container building near to the lake, installed by the Council and now used by Herefordshire Triathlon Club, has been badly damaged by repeated and prolonged flooding making it unfit for use.
Bodenham Lake is the only place in Herefordshire where organised and regulated open water swimming can take place and the Partnership are looking to replace the container with a multi-use space, which in addition to being suitable for use by the Tri Club, will be a space for meetings, somewhere to host activities (eg. exercise classes) and potentially a base for sailing lessons. They would like to hear your thoughts about the kind of community space that your group or club would use.
They have created a very short survey to capture your thoughts, which we will feed into the design and planning process. Please submit your responses and share the link with your contacts ahead of the deadline for responses, which is the 29th of April.https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FKMLVTJ
