Online Offerings

Thanks to HGN members who have sent us these interesting online resources to share:

These resources include a Zero Carbon Britain online course which is running from 29th-30th April. A couple of the HGN Steering Group members have signed up, so why not join us and bring more ZCB knowledge to the county?

London Business School: Leading through a pandemic: an LBS webinar series. As organisations and people around the world attempt to navigate these unprecedented times, we invite you to a webinar series exploring what it takes to lead through uncertainty.

Green Alliance: Website with loads of interesting resources: and very interesting podcasts:  including this one which discusses central and local powers to demand or facilitate climate action:

Acting on Net Zero Now podcast. The UK was the first major economy to set legally-binding climate commitments, the first to commit to the phase out of coal power and is now the first to put a net zero target into legislation. But legislating for net zero is only the first step, it must be accompanied by bold and effective policies, and a clear plan. This London Climate Action Week event, hosted by Green Alliance and IPPR, discusses this momentous decision and what needs to be done now to end the UK’s contribution to climate change.
