Topic: Low carbon & renewable energy generation technologies – John Wade is a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant at Briar Associates with 13 years’ experience advising companies how to reduce carbon emissions and save energy. Prior to this he had extensive experience of implementing projects in the building services industry. He will provide an insight into technologies available such as heat pumps, biomass and combined heat & power, when they are suitable and the economic case.

Topic: Solar PV for business – Neil Stott is a Director at award winning solar PV installer Mypower who have designed, project managed and installed over 50,000 panels (13MW+) across more than 280 projects at commercial & industrial sites over the last 10 years. Businesses are now recognising the environmental and commercial benefits of their own solar PV more than ever. Neil will give an overview of generating electricity at a business through solar PV panels, the practicalities and the benefits a system would be expected to deliver.
