Online Offerings: Centre for Alternative Technology – Zero Carbon Britain course

Two members of the HGN Steering Group attended this online course this week and can highly recommend it!

This is what CAT say about the course “Working with a range of local Councils, we have developed a two day, interactive, online course offering an in-depth look at CAT’s flagship research project, Zero Carbon Britain. Connect with a network of others working and studying in the field and explore the radical changes needed to rise to the climate challenge.”

We had a really enjoyable couple of days and working with 95 other delegates online was much easier and fun than we expected. At £50 it is great value and we have loads of practical advice to learn from and share with the HGN network.

There were a huge variety of people among the delegates – interested individuals, students, councillors, council officers, journalists, XR members, Defra advisors, ex-politicians, ecologists and GPs to name but a few! The course is very accessible and details of the next one, (20-21st May) can be found here: https://www.cat.org.uk/events/zero-carbon-britain-live-online-2/
