From Nat and Alan:
WEDNESDAY 27TH MAY – Return of the tribes. Nationalism in the Age of Global Disaster The Left Bank online discussion evenings continue to try new formats. For this evening, we invite you to sign up for Simon Schama’s talk, ‘Return of the tribes’ at the free, digital, Hay Festival, earlier in the day (4pm – 4.45pm). The link is here but hurry – there are only 1800 tickets left!
We’ll then share our impressions of the event as a way of starting the discussion. If you didn’t manage to catch the event, you can of course listen to the impressions of those who did – and then join in yourself.
