Wednesday 30 September 7.30pm Presentation by Councillor Gemma Davies ‘How Herefordshire Council will apply the Preston Model’ (the implementation of greater consideration of the environment)
Gemma Davies – Councillor leading the changes in how the Council will procure services and products – will outline what the Council is putting in place and how it will hopefully change the local economy. Based on the changes made by Preston Council, where a greater amount of the council’s buying power was focused locally. This created greater turnover within many local businesses, improving the local economy.
