Wednesday 29 July 2020 7.30pm. What difference would Universal Basic Income make to peoples’ lives?

Perry Walker (Talk Shop) will lead us in a virtual game of cards. Each card describes the experience of a participant in a UBI trial overseas. The purpose of the game is to help imagine how people in the UK might respond to receiving a Universal Basic Income.

Tuesday 4th August (7.30pm – 8.20pm) Mindfulness in the Time of Covid

A session that will provide a way of coping with Covid through mindfulness, giving you the opportunity to nurture your resilience. This Mindfulness Space is open to all those wishing to benefit from learning to manage the daily concerns and uncertainties we are living with. Each session will be led by Franca Lane, a Mindfulness Teacher, working in schools, the NHS and MBCT-Spain. Franca has a background of working in mental health (both charities and the NHS) and has been practising mindfulness since the 1990’s.
