Join us on the 7th May for an HGN Members Meeting with a difference! We are living in extraordinary times – and this meeting will be an opportunity to talk through where we are, how we and our collective work is being affected, and what we hope to see happening next – as we journey on through the Covid-19 crisis.

Discussions will include:

  • Member sharing of how things are individually and for their organisations/groups.
    • What issues are important to you member organisations, groups and individuals at the moment?
  • How should we approach discussions about climate and environmental issues during and after the lockdown period?
    • Andrew Simms describes the key learning for our communications from C-19 as
      • Public health and wellbeing comes before short term economic concern
      • Importance of forward planning and prevention
      • Our capacity to respond at speed & scale & change in the public interest and to mobilise physical resources
      • Our adaptability: new norms are possible
      • The need more care for people: protection of the vulnerable, fair shares.
      • Recognition of what makes life worth living, focusing on who mattered, what mattered, what we need more of…

How does this resonate with our own learning?

  • How can HGN best support member organisations, groups and individuals at this present time. How should we be focusing our energies at this present time?

Open to all HGN members, subscribers, associates, and other interested parties…. come and connect with your Network!
