HGN AGM update

Many thanks to all who came to the HGN AGM on Wednesday.  Everyone in the meeting joined together to express our sincere thanks to Kate Gathercole who is stepping down from the HGN Steering Group to take a well-earned sabbatical for a few months. Kate’s contribution to HGN over the last 10 year cannot be overstated – she has been an incredible driving force, wonderful colleague, and safe pair of hands. It is literally true to say that HGN would not exist without her! On behalf of all HGN members and the whole of Herefordshire, we say a huge thanks to Kate and wish her all the best in her time of sabbatical.

Temi Odourinde and Beth Williamson stepped down from the Steering Group (although Beth is staying on as Great Collaboration Co-ordinator) and we would like to thank them both very much for all that they have contributed.

HGN continues to grow and go from strength to strength with three new Steering Group members appointed at the meeting: Danielle Thompson, Kristina Jamieson and Clare Cherry – click here to read the impressive list of skills and experience that they bring.

The documents from the meeting can be accessed here and the minutes will be available in the next couple of weeks. The next Steering Group will see appointments to the new roles set out in the briefing paper that was discussed at the meeting – click here for a copy.

There is certainly lots going on and more information about future developments will be coming out in the newsletter soon.
