At next week’s Herefordshire Green Network AGM on Wednesday 4 December, members will be invited to be part of a people’s assembly to discuss the question:
- What do members need and want from HGN over the next three years?
The question is vital as we enter the next decade in the shadow of the climate and ecological emergency. What is the function of an environmental network in these times? What should our priorities be? How can the network better serve its members? And how can members both use and contribute to it most effectively?
We very much hope that as many members as possible will will join us to practice democracy in action, and help shape the network’s priorities for the immediate future.
The AGM takes place on Wednesday 4 December at 5.30pm at Left Bank Village, Hereford. The formal business should take no more than 10-15 minutes, and will be followed by the people’s assembly. Afterwards, we will hasten down to the bar for a few early festive drinks!
