Hereford’s First Mistletoe Festival! – Call for Stallholders

Plans are afoot for organising Hereford’s first Mistletoe Festival, which will hopefully become an annual event.

We all love a bit of mistletoe at Christmas. Why not join in and see where it lives, help with the harvest, learn about how it grows and its uses, get some to take home, eat, drink and be merry amongst the many Christmas stalls.

It’s planned to take place on the first weekend of December in a local orchard. The organisers are currently inviting expressions of interest from stall holders, including food and drink, musicians, artists, story-tellers, environmentalists, farmers and schools who may wish to participate at this event.

It will be aimed at being a fun family & Christmas oriented event and will be just 2-3 hours on either the Saturday or Sunday afternoon, so not too heavy a commitment for those involved.

If you would like to get involved please contact Patricia Ronan:

More information will be added to their Facebook page.

This first festival is aimed at supporting the Wye Ruin It? campaign and draw attention to the countryside that will be lost.
