Helpers needed!

Wednesday next week is looking exciting and busy…

From 3pm the new Sunset Market (see below – “Calling All Growers & Makers”) will be operating in the Courtyard at the Left Bank, with all sorts of local produce and crafts available. If any of you would like a stall at the Market on either Wednesday or Thursday (or ideally both…), please contact Sophie at Left Bank: enquiries@herefordleftbank.com marked FAO Sophie re Market. Stall hire is free, and a great opportunity for local groups to raise funds and awareness while selling home grown & crafted produce.

If any of you are around to help on either days we would all be very grateful. We are keen to let local businesses know about this opportunity for local people to pop into the Sunset Market (rather than the Super-Market… ) on their way home from work. If you would be happy to join a outreach flyer-ing team on either Wednesday or Thursday next week, please let me know?

Then at 6pm we have the Turnastone Peace Choir joining the market. Bring along your singing voices to join in with their lovely tunes.

And at 7.30 join the HGN Gathering “How do People Transform” with Jonathan Dover. Jon will look at how stages of human consciousness have developed over time, using leading edge research brought together by Ken Wilber’s integral theory. The dynamics between sets of ideas will be highlighted to offer a view that the current challenges we are seeing in society may be calling a whole new level of being into the world. Jonathan graduated in 2005 from the MA in Sustainable Development Advocacy based at Holme Lacy and has recently returned to the West Midlands after living and working at the Findhorn Foundation in North-East Scotland.

…. Interesting times!

Hoping to see lots of you around for this summer holiday extravaganza of locally grown goodness.
