Help generate a buzz for Honeyland!

In collaboration with HGN, The Courtyard in Hereford is showing a bitter-sweet, award-winning documentary on Tuesday 12 November.

Honeyland is a heartbreaking and lyrical environmental story about a Macedonian beekeeper’s conflict with her neighbours. The New York Times described it as “a luminous neorealist fable, a sad and stirring tale of struggle, persistence and change.”

We’re looking for a beekeeper and/or honey maker to come and give a brief talk after the film, and help to generate some discussion. If you are up for this, or know someone else who might be, please contact HGN Administrator Kate Bull as soon as possible: katebull@hgnetwork.org

The film is showing on 12 November at 8.15pm and lasts 90 minutes. Tickets are £7 (£6.50/£5 concessions), available from The Courtyard box office 01432 340555 / www.courtyard.org.uk
