HGN Members and the wider community are urged to respond to the government’s current consultation on “Permitted development for shale gas exploration.” We have until October 25th to return our views to government.
Given the weekend’s news that fracking is due to re-start in the UK for the first time in 7 years, and the IPCC report that says we must dramatically cut fossil fuel use in order to limit temperature rises to 1.5C, it is essential to add our voices to the rising number of people who are campaigning and protesting against this action.
