OPPORTUNITY: PROJECT ORGANISER / ADMINISTRATOR
Transition Leominster hopes to initiate the formation of a Community Car Share Club with its own small pool of vehicles similar to successful clubs in Malvern, Hereford and across the country. Clubs are operating in urban and rural areas using online booking systems. The club is likely to start with donated conventional and hybrid vehicles but the intention is to go all electric as funds permit. Grants may become available.
We need a ‘mover and shaker’ who is fed up with theory and seeks concrete results. To begin with the role will be a voluntary one. Some clubs have been able to fund a part-time manager to deal with the ‘nuts and bolts’ of keeping a successful project ticking. Good organisational and IT skills are essential.

NEWS – Transition Leominster has obtained ‘seed money’ enabling us to commission a ‘notice board’ website. It will promote our car club and similar fledgling car share initiatives across Herefordshire.
