A Poem A Day

“April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.”

from ‘The Wasteland’ by T.S Elliot

I’m hoping to find a beautiful poem or stanza each day in honour of spring and the year ahead. As we have so much to do, I hope it will bring us a little joy each morning. I would so love to accompany this with an image of our beloved county, so if you have anything you could share, please send them to Alice at admin@hgnetwork.org. All poetry (even just a line or stanzas etc) recommendations very gratefully received.
